Where we are

The Bed and Breakfast is located in the Montesacro Nomentano quarter, a safe and peaceful area, rich in historical and artistic monuments (the medieval Nomentano Bridge, the catacombs of Santa Costanza, the Basilica of Sant’Agnese).

The area is well served with restaurants, cafés, markets, shops, several of which are open well into the night; a selection of quality establishments of the area are also mentioned in the Gambero Rosso guide of Rome.

The historical centre and key locations of the city of Rome are easily reached by a single bus: the Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, Circo Massimo, and the main train stations (Termini, Tiburtina, Ostiense, and Trastevere). The night bus to and from Piazza Venezia runs every 10 minutes.

Fiumicino Airport can be reached directly by the FR1 metropolitan train (every 15 minutes) to the Rome-Nomentana Station.

You will find several of Rome’s most beautiful parks in the area: Villa Ada, the second largest public park in Rome (after Villa Pamphili). It provides enchanting views and also contains several lakes and can be reached in a few minutes by car or on foot on the cycling path which runs along the Aniene River; Villa Torlonia where you will also find the Casina delle Civette or the Casino dei Principi, the site of the permanent collection of the Scuola Romana; and the Aniene Park which begins along the edges of the river in the Province of Rome.

The bike path (100 meters from the B&B), which runs along the Aniene to Ponte Milvio, connects at this point to the Tiber River path which crosses the entire historical centre of Rome.
